Have you guys felt anytime that “you are not receiving messages on Facebook”? Recently, I noticed that when I sent messages to all the fans of my Facebook fan page, almost each one of them said that they never received any messages from the page. It was then I started investigating the issue related to Facebook messages.
How-to Find Facebook Messages – Check Facebook Others Folder:
- When you receive messages from your friends, friends of friend or from people to whom you have sent at least 1 message, it will show up in the “Messages” folder. You will also also see unread count on the message icon.
- When you receive messages from someone who is not connected with you and you have never exchanged any mail with him or her in the past, then it shows up in “Other” folder. Also, when you receive any message from any Facebook page (even if you are a fan of that page), the messages would again land up in the “Other”folder. The problem in this case is Facebook doesn’t show unread count any where.
If you feel you are not receiving Facebook messages, check "Others" Folder
